ABOUT OUR ISLAND

Though Brigantine is a small island, we are host to a number of diverse areas.  As you travel over our bridge and look to the right, you will capture a glimpse of our sandy beaches, dotted with vehicles and watercraft.  This area is known as, The Cove. 

Heading east along the beach, you will reach the section know as, The Jetty.  The Cove is infamous for festive gatherings, while The Jetty is a favorite spot for local surfers.  Both of these areas are accessible by four-wheel drive vehicles, with appropriate permits.  The Cove & Jetty are both located in the South-end of the island.

The popular Sea Pointe neighborhood is also located in our South-end.  Many Sea Pointe homes are walking distance to The Cove and Jetty beaches and enjoy the glistening lights of Atlantic City’s skyline sitting directly across the water.

The South-end also features a number of condominiums and townhomes, perfect for the visitor looking for a low-maintenance getaway.

Heading north from the beach to the bay you will enter the A-Zone, named for its R2A zoning.  A-Zone homes feature larger lot sizes, and many have accompanying alleys.  Throughout the A-Zone, most properties are a short stroll to the beach. 

Traveling further you head to the North-end of our island.  The North-end features single family, multi-family, and condominiums.  The North-end beaches tend to be narrower, therefore a shorter walk to hit the sand.

At the western reaches of Brigantine, you will stumble upon what is commonly known as, the Golf Course area.  Single family homes nestled between the greens of our beautiful public 18-hole golf course, The Links at Brigantine Beach.
